Getting Older From thick greens of vibrant weeds And fresh joys shared while unaware Young dreamers stand to diverge from land And till resigned all seasons’ winds. Make frail Gods to quake and scorn with flame Their new soiled hands that battle. And paths opposed duet for life and harm Comic rooted figures in soliloquy. Schizoid tumbleweeds confusing dust Sculpt niches for shelter from self-harm Add grandiose their voice to calling winds Canvassing whispers to hear their own Become prophets charging lambs To appease the wrath for fear and failed. And paths opposed duet for life and harm Comic rooted figures in soliloquy. Vistas echo ash in hope The gentle burrowed beneath the heat Desires wept to arid sands Sink deeper still to clutch for stone. Deaf to cries and safely shattered voice If not for time The good would all.. all… Surely die of grief. And paths opposed duet for life and harm Comic rooted figures in soliloquy.
