So Trump wants to deport people because he feels that they go against his policy.

Trump isn't going to like the idea of a line item at checkout informing consumers of how much of the price hike was due to Trump.

Trump will try to retaliate against them for not supporting his policies.

He's has already used such a narrative in court to try to deport a person at Columbia who was supportive of the Palestinians.

 

If reality was actually the same as Trump fantasies about his import tariffs supposedly bringing in hundreds of billions of dollars from other countries, the price at the checkout would be going down and Trump could put his name on the line item at checkout praising himself for the lower prices.

 

Trump likes his name on everything. He can have his name on the price hikes on store receipts.
