None of those are arguments or ideas your just attacking groups that’s how this country got so fucked up tribalism bullshit not even debating ideas just attacking. Most of maga is pissed at the government waste and corruption that is a good conversation to have. Even if there solutions suck convincing people to change their mind is how you get real change. I have spoken to many that would support Medicaid for all and term limits. If a democrat ran off real issues and was believable I think you would be surprised how many maga you could get to vote blue.

The Democrats ran on the rule of law, supporting the poor and middle class, science, facts, the rich paying their fair share of taxes, confronting Putin and his invasion of a sovereign country, etc.....and who did the Amerikan people elect? I posted on more than one occasion that covid caused no additional deaths and because when half the people who died on a particular day had the virus in their system, it was no different to any other virus and responded to ICU treatment. All my figures were based on the UK, but when I looked at the US, to my utter horror, I discovered that I was wrong. One in a thousand sufferers needed that ICU treatment but almost all of them were left to die on Trump's watch. Result, almost 400,000 ADDITIONAL deaths. Now he is playing the same game on the economy. Without balance of payment regulation, countries who export more than they import end up with all the money and countries who import more than they export end up with none. It is simple schoolboy maths, that I could work out when I was 9 years old. Taxing imports does NOTHING to resolve the core problem, it only increases costs to the end user. This may reduce the import figure, mut there is no certainty. Controlling the balance between the US, Canada and Mexico may help, but the balance is fairly small, so it could have been achieved by diplomacy and putting the end figures on the table. Figures speak louder than threats. The one financial enemy of the US, (along with the rest of the western world) is China, since they are simply amassing all the foreign currency. Trump pointed this out in his first manifesto, but it threatened the parasitic corporations who destroyed the US manufacturing economy, so he had to go. He had his second chance, but he completely blew it. by avoiding the root problems. To stop him thrashing around like a headless chicken, he should be taken to a quiet room and fed with endless jars of gobstoppers. Then he should be taken to India and taught how balance of payments actually work. The UK and India signed a balance of payments agreement in the year 1600 and it still works today. In a nutshell, Trump is one of the most intelligent idiots on the planet, which makes him very dangerous. His last election win, has certain similarities with the rise of Adolf Hitler. After thinking that one out carefully, you will realise that I am not wrong. PS, Skip and his band of merry men could make a much better job or running the country.

I certainly would be. Most of the MAGA crowd I know are True Believers who have cast their lot with Trump and would have serious trouble changing their minds--short of a serious impact on their own livelihoods. I think that's probably coming, but it will take awhile to sink in. And I'm sure somebody will figure out a way to blame the Dems. You seem to be good at that..
I wonder what the new death toll will be with the disease control programs of US AID gone and RFK, Jr., at the head of HHS? And what the death toll will be in the Red States during the next hurricane season with an understaffed NOAA and FEMA? My point is regardless of vaccine rate it is not surprising that more Americans died from Covid already starting out with poor health. We should probably be doing things more like Europe with tighter restrictions on food and a more holistic approach to healthcare
