Some people claim homosexuality and being transgendered is a disease. But disease is only a disease if it causes distress to you, or maybe someone else. And they can't force medical treatment. Except, of course, often with mental illness. Now, in Michigan where I live, these two young men were hospitalized and treated for being neo-nazis once. By their parents who were concerned, BTW. Religion hasn't been used yet to force treatment. I guess because you'd be changing belief, not just action (I think the two young men were getting violent). But, with courts allowing states to get more entangled in religion that might change. Cross your fingers everyone.
