OP Question, I do watch from time to time, and no, I don't feel bad about it because nobody has a gun pointed to their heads and forced to do it. If those involved don't appear to be enjoying themselves or in situations I don't like, I won't be watching.

I know some argue women are objectified in porn or just seen as a body, but as I see most porn today, it's the men who are the objects. Many of the porn actresses have interviews, personalities, you see their faces. Whether what they say or their names are all fake for the industry, it's a "someone." - How many male actors in porn can you name vs women? How often do you see the faces of the males?

Unless you're watching some studio/professionally made porn with known actors, like the stuff you'd find in the 70s, 80s and 90s, you know nothing about the guys and often they're literal objects (ie: their penises) to make the porn work. They're disposable and there only for dicks to do things. The primary focus is always on the female. They're the centre of attention.

Not that I actually care about the guys in the videos, and I suspect most don't care either (I'm merely speaking as a straight male, everybody has their preferences), but the argument of objectifying of women in porn is misguided when you consider the above. Those arguing about objectifying don't even consider the guys involved in the videos, because again, it's mostly just their dicks you see just doing their job..... An object used for an end result and the women are the centre of attention.

And in most areas of the industry, it's the women who hold the power and decided what will and will not be done in the video. The majority of videos have everything prearranged and agreed upon before anything is even setup.

But I digress. One specific thing I do with porn is watch with no sound/volume. Most of the talking, what is said, or even some of the noises are not appealing. I'm a visual person. If I listened to the sound in porn, I probably wouldn't watch 95% of what's out there and grow a plant or something.

.... Especially the Asian stuff. Maybe it's just me being ignorant, but the Asian women always kinda sound like they're suffering an excruciatingly painful death during sex. I think one of the greatest things about porn is the variety of it.

If you don't like seeing people treated as objects, then look for porn with a more intimate theme. People have suggested amateur stuff by legimate couples, but commercial porn offers plenty of scenes that are passionate.

Time is also varied. There are 2 hour long movies and 5 minute clips.

So, you just have to find what works for you.

I have only watched porn a few times and only because someone wanted me to, and a couple of times I got curious about finding positions that I hadn't tried yet. But that was years ago.
