Okay, so just got the urge to see if there are any screamo fans on here? I've been listening to it quite a lot lately, and was hoping to not only find people that are into the same bands but find some new ones =) My faves are: Funeral For A Friend, From First To Last, Alexisonfire, Atreyu, Bullet For My Valentine, Underoath, etc. Yours?

There's probably a lot of stuff that you like that I wouldn't get, but I wouldn't fucking slag it off. This is for people that like screamo/metalcore, because I want some people to talk to about it. Not for arguements. You don't like it? I don't give a shit. I like it.
Avenged Sevenfold kicks ass Atreyu are whiney bitches.........but they make some catchy whiney stuff. Killswitch Engage Between the Burried and Me rocks harder then Ashlee Simpson, thats for sure.
Oh yes! How could I not mention Avenged Sevenfold? They're awesome! <3 Not so keen on Killswitch to be honest, but I've only heard the newest album. Maybe I should give their older stuff a try.
I think I only know Shai Hulud, and am unfamiliar with the term "screamo" so I don't know if you'd file them under it. But I think SH rocks.
Is funeral for a friend screamo?? I don't think they scream that much.. I don't really care what it is, but they make good music!
FFAF do scream quite a bit on the album and are generally classed as screamo Their next album, however, won't have screaming because the guy messed his voice up. =/ It's Alexis-on-fire =)
I like Funeral for a Friend and some Atreyu is alright, but in general screamo is horrible. That's the big music scene where I live where all the upper middle class/ upper class kids think their lives are so horrible and rebel. It kind of annoys me. Ive been to a few shows and I don't think it's really anything all that special.
