I've been smoking weed for years while on Paxil. In the past few weeks, however, I've switched to Wellbutrin. I've smoked three times since beginning my regimen and every time I've had massive trips. It wouldn't be so bad if they weren't such terrible, frightening trips that make me feel sick the next morning. I did some online research and found that this mixture can cause "psychotic episodes". I'm questioning whether I had this or not. In any case, it's one or the other, and I'd give up the Wellbutrin before weed. Has anyone else had this combination and felt similar effects? Please share.
Yes, I only wish that the trips were better. Every time I smoke weed it feels like the time I tried acid for the first time (scary and unpleasant).
I was on a Paxil regimen all through Junior and High School, and I stopped before I started college. You don't need that anti-depressant crap, trust me. When I got off of it, and I felt better than I had in a very long time. I now just have a feeling of happiness, it felt as though the drug was holding me down in the depths of depression. As a quote says somewhere in this forum: "In the 60's, people did acid to make the world seem weird. Now, people take Prozac to make it seem normal."
