What is the nicest thing anyone ever said to you.

wow the sweetest thing?..hmm.."Girl, your schoolin me," "How?" "Everything about you, the way you talk think act, yeah even the way you look, you blow me away.."

Hmm... the sweetest thing was probably when my mom told me she was really proud of me turning out to be such a strong, independent, amazing person. I don't remember the exact words, but it was to that effect.

I also had a guy just come up to me on the street, say "I love your shoes", smile, and walk away. It made me really happy because I had just bought them, he was cute, and I didn't think guys ever noticed shoes before then.

I also had a super close friend of mine tell me I was one of the most compassionate people she's ever known... which is kinda funny, because it's only for some people that I'm that caring. People like her, a few other friends, and family.

Well, this isn't exactly what they said, but the sweetest moment for me was grad night right after my high school graduation. I had been in an advanced Spanish class where we translated a lot of official documents for the school district. One of my classmates was a nice girl from Mexico. I didn't actually think we really knew each other all that well, so I was kind of surprised when she put her arms around me. I put my arms around her and we just hugged for a moment... I was extremely nervous, and I could only hold on for so long! Then we took about a million pictures for many different people's cameras, and for every picture she put her arm around me. I'll always remember her because she was so sweet to me that night. I wish I could see her again, but I have no idea where she is now.

 

haha... someone told me thta i needed my own theme song then starteds hummung "lets get it on." but thats not my thing its just finnny.

um... my boyfrend says really nice things all the time.

One thing he said that really made me go "awww" was when he just listed everyhting he liked about me, and pojnted out how even though we are way different we still like eachother so much! it was so sweet. I dont remember the list but i was gushing emotion for like 5 min after.

 

it's not so much one thing as a dialogue

"It's not going to work"
"Don't worry, it'll work"
"how... Damn, it worked!?!?"

I have had those 3 lines happen so many times and they are the greatest compliment I can ever recieve, people aren't really sweet to me

 

i think it was the time when i was told " you are part of the force that bettered me"

 

I suppose this is sortof silly, but I was hanging out with a horse (yes the sort you ride) I have no Idea where, but it is really beside the point...anyway I was just petting it and talking to it when the owner came up to me and said "Do you own horses" I said "no" then she said "wow you are really a natural" I don't know why it just made me feel good.

 

ummm welll a new friend told me i was cool i know that dosent seem like much but it really made me all warm inside...
a few days ago i was with my ex boyfriend the first time we had seen each other in along time and we were sitting there it was kinda akward and out of no where he looks at me and goes " you pushed me more then anyone to get my life together, i just wished i had done it when i was with you" it made me realize that our relationship wasnt as horribale as he has made me believe...

 

I'm going to revise my answer from before. The nicest thing anyone has ever said to me was actulaly received in card form. My best friend gave it to me when I was still really new at my job and having an awful day, and it cheered me up so much I was almost crying

heh, I even teared up a little reading it again! This girl is like the nicest, most caring person ever... she always makes me feel better to be around her. And for Vday, my other friend and I cooked food for a bunch of our single buddies (90% of our friends are single, lol)... 5 desserts and 4 appetizers, it was soooo much fun and soooo good. No one else really said how good it was afterwards though (I mean, the normal "mmm, yummy" stuff while eating, but not afterwards, when it shows how well it really stuck with you.

this makes me smile everytime.....I parted my hair differently once, and my decide to dry totally differently...anyways, quite a few people were asking me if I curled it cut it or something and I kept telling them no. However, when i went to first block, a guy I greatly admire immediatly stopped what he was doing, turned his head, opened his eyes real wide and said, "WHOAA. Your hair looks cool! Lemme guess....you didn't do anything to it?" He then give me a big smile and says "Looks good. "

 

My ex-boyfriend and I once walked unwittingly into a pub that was inhabited by neo-Nazis.

I was pretty nervous and my ex turned to me and said "dont worry I'll fight them, I will die for you." He said it so matter of factly, I know he truly meant it.

That was pretty special.
