I'm gonna have to go with Phish's first night at keyspan park, Brooklyn. The setlist, the venue, the rain, it was all so fucking perfect.

the 1st night for Ekooskik Hookah at the Melk Weg in Amsterdam was probably my favorite show of the year. Well, the The Dead in Atlanta was fabulous as well, but being over in Amsterdam for 3 nights of Hookah and one of String Cheese was a once in a lifetime experience.

    WayfaringStranger wins the grand prize!!

The acoustic planet tour was by far one of the best tours of the summer. 11 badass musicians on stage at once!

I was soooo disappointed that the acoustic planet tour completely skipped the northeast. I still havenm't seen ymsb, but they're one of my favorite bluegrass groups and keller and bela are two of the best shows i've ever seen. I can only imagine what kind of craziness emerged out of a jam between all of them (did you say 11? I only count 9...) Keller, Bela, Victor, Futureman, Jeff Coffin, and the 4 guys from ymsb, who are the other 2?

Stubbs: inside or in the yard? I remember catching Cheese/Mule there and YMSB inside.
way better than Liberty Lunch and its security!

It was outside in the yard; Inside is too crowded for me, espcially when your on some fungus. But man the security at Stubbs is hardcore, they sit up on that balcony watching everyone. I saw like three or four people get their pipes taken up and they took my bottle of whiskey. O well, I still like the place a lot, good food and good environment.

Hmm, its a pretty close tie between a few shows for me. Ween at Bonnaroo late night rocked pretty fucking hard, Phish was amazing at Alpine, and The Cheese Hulaween show was off the hook!

I think I'm going to have to go with Cheese - 10/31/04, if you guys havn't heard this show yet you need to, it is just sweet!

Both of those sound awsome. I want to see YMSB but I dont think they're coming north of the Mason Dixon for a while =P

My best show would have to be two nights of Phish at Mansfield. They were my first Phish concerts and the best I've heard. Coventry was fun but they didn't play nearly as well as they did at Mansfield.

umm, i dunno about phish's last tour, the first half was definately awesome, with shows like keyspan park and alpine valley to brag about, but not so sure about the second half. i have listened to the last night of coventry and it is some of the worst phish i have ever heard. i mean, i know they were under a lot of stress and i can't even blame them, but i think it definately shows why they did the right thing in calling it quits
