whats the strangest thing you've ever eaten?

i just saw power13s toothpaste post and it reminded me..........

when i was a kid i used to love toothpaste on rich tea biscuits. i used to sneak a tube into my school lunchbox and smear it all over them.

try it one day! it was lovely!

that and raw cocoa powder on frosties with no milk. i still eat that now!!

You know that toothpaste contains Sodium Laureth Sulphate, right?

 

nope.

i now know you're not meant to eat it, and i had a suspision i knew then otherwise i wouldnt have kept trying to hide it all the time!!

i just looked it up on google -

Sodium laureth sulphate is a powerful detergent, garages use it to clean engine oil from their floors, it is also very corrosive.

maybe i should change this to most dangerous/stupid thing you've ever eaten!

 

heh. when i was a baby i used to eat cigarette ends

 

i ate a cigarette aswell once, but only by accident!

A piece of polystyrene (or something like it) that came in a box as padding with a mug I bought as a birthday present for someone else over the internet from www.swearbear.com

 

When I was a teenager I'd sometimes nibble up a whole or a half a stock cube, I liked the strong flavor and maybe I needed the salt, I dunno?
And a few weeks ago I had pancakes with mealworms & dates with crickets, which is definitely strange in our part of the world, but there are lots of places where insects are eaten more often.

 

i used to eat dried spaghettie and bread (just plain bread) as a kid. I hated normal spaghetti but id wonder round the house eating it dry with a slice of bread (usually speared by the spagetti).

Umm i ate a fly once.

i used to eat chewing gum. :S

 

i also used to eat worms

 

ive swollowd a marble,and once i was eatin a chew bar and it pulled out one of my theeth and i swollowd that aswell

 

My uncle ate a banana slug when he was 4. It turned his teeth black for weeks.

 

wooah whats a banana slug?! that sounds awful!

i remember us feeding Carlos the earth from a plant, and him eating it willingly, together with some other cool mixture we made... haha

I used to eat raw pastry....Is still pretty nice now actually....

Seriously though don't eat toothpaste...Can really fuck you up.. (leads onto harder drugs like mouthwash and soap as well )...

Wasn't their one guy that got trapped somewhere and survived for weeks just on toothpaste?

 

The Lychee fruit does sorta look like an eyeball... tastes great though! Here's a picture:
