Well, for those of you who don't really know what's happening, Maynard and the other members have gotten back together to make a new album; will it be even better? Personally, I think, no, I KNOW it will be better. Looking at the five albums of theirs that exist presently, they progressed with every single one. Considering the power of Lateralus, their next album is going to be absolutely mind-blowing.
in the official page mentioned that danny carey says that the new stuff they´ve been playing and modifying these past weeks is "the best material i have ever played " 8l im completely speechless... it must be so fucking great!!! i cant wait to hear it... =)
ahh yes i read the same thing. i am very excited about this. what a great year for music, 2 of my favorite bands, nine inch nails and tool, are releasing new albums :]
well I heard it was slated for spring '05........ I havent heard any more about it. I know they pretty much have all the instrumental tracks laid down...... maynard needed to lay down his vocals and lyrics.... this was back in late '04 that I recall reading this....... anyways, I cant wait!
I can't wait. I'll be interested to see how they top Lateralus, but they have a track record with that sort of thing.
well... if every single time they release another album it is better than the last.... wow... i dont know how they will improve after lateralus..... can it be better?? of course!! but... how in my little pathetic mind can it be?? =l dont really know... i have saved the money for it so i wont wait a second when it´s out...
My thoughts on it? It's about time! lol. I can't wait to get it and see what they've done. And yeah, this is a good year for music.
Well, at least I know I'm not the only Tool fan here . While I'm at it, do you think another String Quartet Tribute will pop up because of this new album? I mean, the first was amazing, the second was pretty good, but if there is a third; I hope it takes Tool's idea of improving. Have you ever synched up the String Tribute with the actual song by Tool? It's amazing...
my thoughts on Tool's upcoming album: it damn well better be a LOT better than the last album. It was dissapointing, and the supporting tour was beyond boring. what happened to the Tool i knew and loved in the 90's?? peace. LP
good fuckin god, you gotta be kidding me. disappointing?? I think not. I would say it is heaps more entertaining than the overrated aenima album. I guess it all depends on your taste.
the tour sucked. and they played the exact same set every night, even at the same venue! i didn't even GO to the last night i had tix for, i couldn't do it again.
