What did you do naked today?

Last night I shaved my entire body in the outdoor shower before calling it a night and woke this morning naked and took the dogs outside and walked them

I'm working from home naked today, and right now I'm eating lunch naked.

 

Treadmill…well I did have socks and shoes but the interesting stuff was free!

We camped in the circle for three years and attended a ten day swinger event each year. In general it was cold and windy and we quit going.

We now are camp hosting at state parks and are nude every chance we get.

 

It's called Carnival Safe and it happens a couple of times a year. It is for RV swingers. Sets up in the desert with a community tent for fun. Activities, games, movies...

 

So the question becomes, every day, am I doing this right?

Am I properly advocating for the normalization of non-sexual nudity, fighting off the sex club fake naturists/nudists and putting my own body out there for public review in a way that will further advance our cause?

These are the questions that keep me up at night! I posted the exact same New Year’s Eve photos and the exact same message on the Naturist Hub (AANR forum) and got lots and lots of positive response. But here, it’s just like everybody is looking at everybody else looking for social cues and direction. Except Nudist Ted, who is clearly the real deal (as well as Amontillado and a few others here).

I didn’t really mean for this post to become a social experiment, at least for me, but that’s exactly what it’s become. In my own mind for sure.

Thoughts?

 

I mean I’d rather read about a dude/chick who waited for the exact right minute to go out and get his or her mail at 1 AM while naked and no one else was looking than some Captain of Industry who went to a high end sex club and watched strangers bang.

 

Granite69, your post following this one confuses me regarding your motive to promote non-sexual nudity. If you are using sarcasm you might want to take the late Rush Limbaugh’s advice and leave that to the professionals. Lol
My interest in nudism is non-sexual. I despise how swingers have high jacked resorts and call their sexual sin nudism.
The two photos you posted I believe are representative of every day nudity. I think you are also brave to display your face. People need to see that nudity is not just for the shower, doctor’s office and sex.
I enjoy reading about how people discovered nudism and how and where they enjoy it. Personally I like to hike and keep the house clean while nude. I have modeled for figure drawing classes, done remodeling work on a couple of houses, done yard work and have even driven while nude.
To be a good advocate always promote in a positive way.

 

Hey, thanks for the prop. There are a few of us trying to keep a little corner of the world for non-sexual nudity, but as you say, there are others who just see that as a challenge. And maybe at Hipforums in particular, those people feel even more that there shouldn't be any rules! Of course "no rules" tends to mean that some people grab what they want. I think Naturist Hub has a very different outlook--everyone is there as a naturist (and no, I'm not a member, but I've heard of it). Of course they'll support fellow naturists!

Now I'm going to be mean and say I'm not crazy about your photos, at least not the New Year ones. You probably know how common it is for guys of mature years to take nude selfies indoors, showing nothing except a naked guy. I think a good naturist picture shows someone doing something interesting, and most likely outdoors--which you could easily do with your mountain travels. But I suppose you wanted to get something out here for the start of the year. I'm afraid I've decided to be anonymous here, and I don't post pictures. I do in other forums, but I don't take Hipforums very seriously. Despite being a member here for over 20 years!

I do agree with both of your sentiments about staying positive and keeping the quality of nude photos to a certain standard. As a rule, I do not post nude indoors selfies and resisted the urge throughout the holidays to do the naked by the Christmas tree thing … even though I “liked” all such photos I saw on the Naturist Hub. But I was feeling a lot of naked energy on New Year’s Eve and was like why not? I had work that night and celebrating the new year with my online friends was about my only option for some fun energy.

Beyond this, I realize I do sometimes fail in the keeping it positive category (see the Desexualization thread, for example) and am making an effort to become less reactionary.

Being a nudist/naturist has evolved from a fun little thing for me to a major part of how I see myself over the last few years. Have started serious conversations with my wife about transitioning to life in Florida once our youngest finishes high school in a few years. After nearly 55 years in the Northeast, I’m over being cold for more than half the year. I want to die warm and tan, whenever that day comes. And I want to have year round opportunities for nearby nude beaches and resorts.

 

Granite, I would not worry or apologize about what you posted. All opinions are valid and valued. I value everyone's opinion, even if I disagree. This is AMERICA and we have the right to our opinion.

Conforming or caving into others should be YOUR choice and not that of others.

 

I worked out, and now I am going to play some video games and then watch football. I will not be clothed until late morning tomorrow, at the earliest, unless there is some sort of emergency.

Unless others are uncomfortable with your choice. One of my boys came in the house the other day, unannounced. He had his family with him. Before they came in he placed a blanket over me so as I would not embarrass anyone by my nudity. My home, my right! Correct? No, not always. I politely excused myself and donned a bathrobe for the visit. Personally I would have preferred to remain nude but out of respect for their feelings I made the choice to cover and enjoy their visit. So there are times when conforming is the only option.

 

After reading your statement.......I see that it was YOUR choice to comply. You might have preferred to remain naked, but it was YOUR choice to dawn a bathrobe so your family could enjoy their visit with you. You had a choice to conform to your son's request, and YOU made that choice.

Suppose you had chosen to remain naked and forced your son to bring his family in to visit. Your son might have chosen not to visit you or bring his family in to visit. That would have been HIS choice.

There is a HUGE difference between being forced or pressured to conform and conforming because YOU feel it's the right thing to do.

 

I lived my everyday life without shame of my body. I was raised this way and I can't imagine a better way to live. I made lunch, I fed the chickens, worked on my crochet, cleaned and reorganized the pantry. This is the best way to live!

This morning I got up. Made mine and my wife's breakfast. Made the bed and did the washing up then general lazed about a while watching TV. Then next door neighbour turned up to ask if my Mrs if she wanted to go into town with her, so I made them another cup of tea. They have gone now, so in watching day time quiz shows on TV until they return.
