I feel my eye slowly prying open I feel my mind absorbing the answers like a sponge My eye adjusts to the light and clarifies the distortion that was once a mystery I feel my heart welcoming the fear and darkness with love as it would a friend While shedding light on your face and removing your dark cloak I see the purity of your instinct I'm processing and analyzing every particle I can with my barely opened eye If I could only pry it all the way open and extend my muscles to the maximum If I could only see what lays beyond me...Beyond us If I could only step into the darkness with a new technique...With a new approach...With a new and glowing eye.
