How far would you go in legalizing nudity?

That's my current predicament. We are a friendly neighbourhood so I don't want to upset that calmness. Two of my neighbours would be very likely to see me and may either be embarrassed or annoyed. (Unless they were OK about it).
I feel the need to approach them to ask how they would feel if they were to see me. If they would object, I'll wait until they are away and if they are OK, I'll do it freely. My trouble isn't the neighbours. It's my o/h who would think I have gone nuts, gone weird or become perverted. I think it's not good, to be judgemental of others and my neighbours seem not to be.

I believe it should be legalised. Not being from the USA, I would have thought that it should fall within the terms of freedom of expression. It seems not.

I'd legalize it completely if I could. There's nothing inherently obscene about the human body—it's just a body and we all have one. I would absolutely go nude in public if I could do it without getting arrested and charged with a sex crime, but it'll never happen here.

Good luck having nudity with NO arousal. Even the sense of "deviancy" that comes with breaking the norms of society is arousing. That's why children shouldn't be allowed at nude resorts or beaches until society can normalize it more. Plus, it makes it inhibited for an adult to try to suppress male or female physical response just because there are kids present.

I would start with two things.
    1) Increasing the amount of clothing optional sections at beaches all over the U.S.
    2) Doing away with stupid laws that require women to wear tops. What in the heck is wrong with nipples? Because THAT is where most indecency laws draw the line. It's not the breast itself, but the nipple that the puritans have a problem with. We ALL have nipples, get over yourselves.

I feel like I should be able to walk around or bicycle completely naked anywhere in public. I don’t look bad naked and it doesn’t harm anyone and it brings me a lot of pleasure and relief when it’s really hot out.

But I know that this will probably never happen.

Go back not even so long ago, public bath houses, saunas, pools, beaches was norm to be naked.
Activities like those above make absolutely zero sense to be clothed. "Getting undressed, to get dressed into something else that's going to get wet" it's an inconvenience at best. We have all been conditioned to view our bodies as dirty, private, or sexual, yet under our clothes even the most prudest of us are naked.
Personally I think thered be less evils and more acceptance to all if nudity wasn't as big a taboo as it is.

Have you ever been to Europe and gone to a beach there. Your argument is totally invalid!

I can’t think of one place that I wouldn’t go naked. I find being naked extremely relaxing.
