    1) Ridiculing you. ..

Yes you are the one projecting your conspiracy beliefs on to me LOLOL I have demanded facts from the beginning and you have proffered precisely ZERO!

I have discovered you and the rest of my opponents have several conspiracy beliefs, starting with the Holocaust proven by the orthodoxy test that you all failed, or passed depending how you prefer to look at it! That hitler had everything planned out down to the finest detail, air tight, super secret, everything was euphemisms the only people smart enough to truly understand are you guys with our Dick Tracy super secret decoder rings! Fascinating conspiracy theory you have though.

    I asked the questions:

Do you have so much as 1 minutes worth of litigation experience in court?

    Tell us what happens next?

Since you dodged the questions and now that I know your personality better I know without a doubt the answer to my question is NO, you have NO experience in a court so you have NO clue how the process works, none what so ever which explains a lot to me and draws a very clear picture why you are in capable of countering my arguments point for point and why you and others are forced to resort to name calling and personal attacks instead of having a reasonable debate.

Now here you are with no legal experience and you are trying to convict hitler and the nazis of a crimes without a trial and without a shred of material evidence that people died by cyanide and as usual instead you are attacking me, not the ever growing evidence that contradicts your conspiracy theory piling up on the table!

So what have we learned so far in this thread?

    1. There are and have been real conspiracies.
Conspiracy theory interpretation, my conspiracy theory is valid.

    2. There are and have been conspiracy theories that exist and can not be proven.
Conspiracy theory interpretation, the proof is being ignored either willfully or out of ignorance.
    3. Unprovable conspiracy theories are based on actual facts taken out of context, misunderstood, misinterpreted, or willfully manipulated .
    For example:
Certain Nazi death camps had musical bands made up of the prisoners.
Conspiracy theory interpretation, no one was murdered at Nazi concentration camps.

    4. As in the example above conspiracy theories require a leap in logical thought. This often results in Illusory pattern perception.
    For example:
Some, or one, Nazi concentration camp had a swimming pool, one held a play, one had a band, some held soccer games.
Conspiracy theory conclusion, this pattern shows that no one was murdered at Nazi concentration camps.

    5. Reasons for the existence of the elements of imagined patterns are presupposed.
    For example:
Swimming pools, bands, plays, and sport activities were provided for the enjoyment of prisoners, no other reason for their existence is possible.
Conspiracy theory conclusion, this shows that no one was murdered at Nazi concentration camps.

    6. Sources of conspiracy theory data are lacking, and or controversial, misinterpreted, misrepresented, taken out of context, made up, and seldom can withstand close scrutiny. Most of the time these sources are not cited.
    7. If sources are cited and investigated and any element of the source is actually true it it is usually found that the source has been misinterpreted, misrepresented, or taken out of context.
    8. Reliable sources and facts that contradict the conspiracy theory are always found to be in on the coverup of the true nature of the conspiracy theory.
    9. People who subscribe to unprovable conspiracy theories seldom accept the fact that their theory is not valid.
    10. Conspiracies theories usually depend on simple explanations.
    For example:
Swimming pools, bands, plays, and sport activities existed in Nazi concentration camps.
Simple conclusion, they were there for entertainment and are completely benign.

    11. Conspiracy theorists put forth simple statements with little validity or fact checking that supports their outlook and then leave it to others to investigate the value of the statement which, as in all aspects of research, takes time. This means the conspiracy theorist can bombard others with statements that require little time and effort on their part, but a large amount of time and effort to show how erroneous the initial statement is.
    12. If you fail to take the time and effort to debunk any conspiracy theory statement, that means it is correct to the conspiracy theorist.
    13. Semantics are often employed as valid arguments, such as arguing to definitions, arguing from definitions, redefining definitions, and linking two properties of a subject and then attributing a third, unrelated property to that subject.

    Speculation:
Is it worth the time and effort to engage in discussions with conspiracy theorists?

    1. If you don't engage in discussions with conspiracy theorists the conspiracy theory is seen as true by the conspiracy theorist.
    2. If you do engage in discussions with conspiracy theorists the conspiracy theory is seen to be true by the conspiracy theorist as you are in on the conspiracy or ignorant of the "true" facts.
    3. Once one set or incidence of fact or facts is presented to a conspiracy theorist and rejected as untrue, all subsequent valid facts will also be rejected.

    Question:
Is it worth the time, both individually and in the pursuit of truth, to engage in conversation with a conspiracy theorist?

I'd add only the socio-and pycho-pathological factors behind false conspiracy theories: the "paranioid style of American politics" (Hofstadter),the dislocations and threats posed by socio-economic and socio-demogrphic change and fears of Great Replacement, the availability of the internet, and the predominance of apophenia and schyzoid and narcissistic personality disorder among the believers. This thread provides an on-going dramatic demonstration of the latter phenomenon in action. Textbook case! The shrinks would have a field day!

I did not respond to this because I was too lazy to look it up at the time, however not one thing has been said about the Holocaust so far that I do not already know and have not dealt with years ago.

As a courtesy I went out and looked this up for you, like I said anyting that contradicts the narrative slowly fades away in time and gets buried so deep in garbage its impossible to find.

I knew about this at least 10 years ago. I didnt read this because I know what it 'should' say. This is about a woman from englanf iirc that wanted to make her mark in the holocaust book of infamy as a fraud, so she set out digging pot holes all around the camp sure to find 'mass graves'. When she turned up nothing get this...she went outside the camp perimeters and found the bones of some animal then gleefully proclaimed eureka! Couple problems, it was in a wooded area and a good distance outside the camp where the graves are claimed to exist. She will go down in everyone elses history as a fraud.

So then according to you anyone that believes in a conspiracy theory has some sort of psychological disorder, since all our citations make that claim.

So GPR is an antisemetic Holocaust Denier too?

What is Ground Penetrating Radar? (A Complete Guide)

Ground penetrating radar (GPR) is a non-intrusive geophysical technique that uses radar to image and survey the subsurface. It is used for a range of applications including investigating underground utilities including asphalt, cables, concrete, masonry, metals and pipes.

Using electromagnetic radiation in the radio spectrum’s microwave band (VHF/UHF frequencies), GPR detects signals that are reflected back from subsurface structures in the survey area. The electromagnetic property of GPR allows it to reflect back against different media, allowing practitioners to detect subsurface objects, voids, cracks and more.

    Y. Dong, F. Ansari, in Service Life Estimation and Extension of Civil Engineering Structures, 2011

    7.7 Ground penetrating radar (GPR)
Ground penetrating radar (GPR) operates by transmitting electromagnetic waves (in the range of 10 ~ 10 00 Hz) into the probed material and receiving the reflected pulses as they encounter discontinuities. The discontinuity could be a boundary or interface between materials with different dielectrics or it could be a subsurface object such as a debond or delamination (see Fig. 7.3). The amplitudes of the received echoes and the corresponding arrival times can then be used to determine the nature and location of the discontinuity.
Ground-Penetrating Radar - an overview | ScienceDirect Topics

They found no discontinuity which means that the ground below was undisturbed.

Are you saying GPR is a myth?

To reiterate, some conspiracies are true, but the wacky conspiracy theories are products of political culture (the paranoid style), sociological factors (coping with the dislocations of rapid change), psychological disorders, conspiracies to sow conspiracy theories, and being gullible, or as the Ruskies say, Полезные идиоты ("useful idiots"). No, I don't think they're all products of mental illness, but that some pathologies(especially schyzoid personalities, apophenia, and narcissitic personality disorder) seem to be especially prone to them. After viewing this thread, readers can form their own judgments about particular cases.
