    have just got wishbone ash "collection" . fantastic album...../peace/

    I think they rock!


    Though they may be in the metal genre they don't blast the music out at fullest velosity (although the velosity varies) and they don't have to. Might be an old/new idea for some future metal.

    Favorite album so far is Argus. Wonderful songs in that one.

    I had forgot all about them, but I remember I used to like them. Story of my life (70's child)...will have to make an effort to listen again.

    highly underrated band, i always describe them as a mix of CSNY,Allman Brothers and Rush.

    Argus is a great album, should be in the collection of everyone who loves good guitar music :sunglasse

    Yes - they were underated, and I agree Argus is the best of their albums. I actually saw them just after that came out and they were really tight playing live. A great band.


    Just one thing - they were around long before the 'heavy metal' label was! Back then, we would have called them a light progressive rock band.
