Thoughts about answering the door nude ( with appropriate " warning " sign posted )

I wonder how long it will take for my neighbors to catch on. They always have to wait a few seconds before I answer the door, and it's always in a robe.

 

Hard to guess what people will think, but if you want them to catch on it might help if curtains/blinds aren't blocking the windows too much.

 

And which is the correct apparel?

 

My nabours and post man all know I am naked in the house and back garden and they all don't mine. What a felling.

in answer to the topic at hand, I have never answered the door nude and really have no desire to do so. I fully support those who choose to do so, however. As the saying goes, clothing is always optional.

 

I have answered the door many times without a shirt on. I'd rather not, but I often forget that I'm not wearing a shirt - I'm quite sensitive to feeling too hot for comfort so I rarely wear one in my home.

But I would never open the door with my genitals exposed. Never. I can't think of presenting myself more disrespectfully to another person than that.

 

Try the pizza dare sometime. If you answered the door naked you might get a discount whereas I'd be more likely to get a visit from the police.

 

I had to laughed when you mentioned Jehovah Witnesses. I recognize their right to believe as they choose I just don't want to be preached to at my front door by anyone. For a while, we had them coming to the house (this was in Reno, NV) on a regular basis and we'd always, politely, let them know that we were not interested. That didn't stop em, and since it was my wife that was typically at home (and she is a nude sunbather) I suggested she answer the door in her 'sun bathing outfit'.

 

You are so right. But here in the UK it is legal and my labours know.

I also have a film on the sides and font of my bungalow, so I can see out but they cannot see in. Unless it's dark and I put a light on. But no one will be calling at that time of day.

So I do think I am in a very luck situation as I have taken all the necessary precautions.

Even the postman know that I am a nudist and told me he doesn't have a problem with that and at home he just wears his boxers...lol.

I haven't heard of these in the UK and if you can get a T-shirt to would be great for a nice drive in to or to the countryside, where I would strip off for a nice walk and could put the shorts on if needs be

In London for Whicks this only happened once, but was nice. I have heard a lot but like I said only once while delivering and another when a car was overtaking my truck. No I did honk my horn (not that one...lol) so as not to put them off...lol.
