Have you ever smoke any particular strains?

I'm saying this because, like many kids my age, I usually don't have the opperotunity to smoke a particular type of weed. Usually it's just mids or KB. About 2 years ago I did get some bud (and payed top dollar, btw) that was suppossedly white widow. I honestly have no reason to doubt the person I bought it from because he's a respectable dealer and I've known him all my life not just as a dealer butr also as a friend. Not to mention it was the first (and only) bud I ever got that did actually STICK to my finger. Wish I had that again. Still I can never be sure if it was just sick bud or actual WW.

Every once in awhile some blueberry comes into possesion. Like I said before I don't know who grew it so I can't be sure, but it reaks like blueberries and is a real heavy hgh so I assume it is actually blueberry.

Besides for that I really haven't gotten to smoke stuff like AK47, bigbud and all the renown strains. Hopefully when I'm older with my own place.....

 

I've smoked some Northern Lights, and that was pretty chronic stuff... I have some right now that is pretty wicked, but I am unsure what type it is. I typically don't know what strain i smoke, unfourtunately.

I've only ever once, and it was California something or other, possibly crush, just absulotely white buds, literally the strongest Id ever smoked probably the only reason I got to know the name I suppose. Took .5g to get Absolutely ripped.

 

I've had some lights and some AK. I wouldn't normally believe it was certain strains, but I was friends with the grower, and looking at the AK we had, and a picture in high times, you could tell it was the same stuff. And damn good too. Other than that, just generic buds or schwag for me.

 

it is difficult to know what strain you are smoking unless you know the grower or can get it from a reputable source such as a shop in Holland.

i've smoked many strains, each of them being very unique. however, the majority of the pot i smoke is x-strain (either who knows, or who cares because it's damn good so what difference does it make).

in the Americas i have smoked California Big Bud, Silver Haze, Northern Lights, Alaskan Thunderfuck (no. 4 on my list of best-strains ever), Chronic (shipped from europe), various Skunk crosses, and more that i cannot remember.

in Europe I have smoked the real White Widow (no. 1 on my list ), AK47, bubblegum, double bubblegum, orange bud, sweet flower, great white shark (no. 2 on my list), super silver haze, Jack Herer, and many more that i do not remember.

yes, i just cannot remember the majority of them. but the ones that made a special impression, like White Widow and Great White Shark, mmmm......

I have smoked several various strains in various parts of the U.S. which came directly from the grower.
Northern Lights and Alaskan Thunderfuck both while in Alaska
Trainwreck, Blueberry, White Shark, Diesel, 4-way-cough, Many skunk crosses, Lambsbreath, Haze, Vermont Purps, and many more but none compare to Lemon Lime who's genetics are kept a mystery. Try and buy seeds and they'll laugh at you.

ive smoked some bomb nuggz before. One time i was sold AK but idk if it was real either way it was good. Right know i can get white widow from amserdam or any other strain so its straight as hell. Cause i know this girl and she goes to boarding school and she has the friend there whos dad lives in amsterdam and he takes small amounts back with him to sell. He sells it to her and since where friend and she knows i fiend bud she sells it to me for the same price or just smokes me up. ah i love that connection

 

I have smoked some great strains. It's funny because a lot of people think just because one bud looks different from another, it can't be the same strain, but it's all in how it's grown as well.

and many others that didn't really have a name from cross breeding so much. You can get any kind of strain you want. Picking good genetics are good, but you have to know how to grow it well. When your dealer comes up to you and says he has some widow for example and it looks not so pretty, it could still be widow but grown badly.

I just don't like the misconception that unless you get your pot from Amsterdam or BC that it isn't the same strain. Maybe not the same that gets entered in the Cannibis Cup, but it's still the same thing. Calling something the REAL (fill in the blank) is bullshit. It's real, just grown much better in certian places.

 

you know, strains come from all over the world. consequently, there are many strains labeled as something even though they are completely unlike the same-name strain found elsewhere. additionally, strains get refined over time and/or crossed with other strains. it is damn hard to know what exact strain you are smoking. even worse, people sell weed as one strain even though it may not be that strain at all.

for some reason i don't think white widow is extremely popular in america. maybe this comes from my experience of seeing pot called "white widow" and knowing it was completely made up. the only white widow i've ever truly had was in a rural area of Holland.

 

yeah everyone around my town for a while was KB this, white widow that, applejacks, blah blah blah......... I really don't think most of the kids around here knew what they were talking about, just playing back all the bullshit their drug dealer or friends crammed in their little heads..............................................

maybe so, but I know quite a few growers around here as it's kind of a rural place, and a few have grown the same strain and while it looked different, it was still technically that strain. A lot of times it's just a marketing scheme, but just because someone has only seen great White Widow in holland, doesn't mean that I can't order the seeds and grow it perfectly myself. It's all about who you deal with and how much bullshit you're willing to put up with. I never deal with anyone but the growers themselves. You end up getting fucked and lied to. It's super easy to know what strain you're smoking when you don't go through 2 or 3 people to get the pot.

again, just because it's not the same looking pot, doesn't mean it doesn't have the same genetics.

Diesel IS one of the Headiest strains out there. Its one of the few you'll pay 70 an 8th for and not mind doing so.
As far as strains are concerned,getting it here or there it doesn't matter. Wether its imported or locally grown, its the same genetics. Besides, there are growers here in Pa that Could teach Jack Herer a few things....

 

^Ive smoked buds that i know for a fact came from amsterdam many many different ocassions. I still swear that the best bud ive ever boughten did not come from amsterdam and i bought it in CT.

 

the only time ive know the strain is when i grew it myself..but the 2 times i have grown in the past i never smoked any of the stuff...i just grew for fun and sold the plants whole

 

I've been to Amsterdam twice, and have tried most of the popular strains and some of the more obscure. My favorites are definitely The Bubblegum they have at Gray Area - they change it every few months. The 1st time it was Double Bubble; this past time it was Bubblelicious or some shit - good stuff. I had this Amnesia Haze that knocked me on my ass for 5 hours or so. Same with the AK47. Strong, but I prefer the more uplifting stuff. Silver Haze is pretty bomb, as is the Blueberry and Melon.

Right now I can get some bomb ass 60 an 1/8 shit that is suppoesedly BC, but unless you know the grower you can't really tell. I know good weed, and I could care less where it's grown - if it's good, it's good.
