okay i was wondering, have any of you had a relationship when you were younger where you felt you were truly in love and going to spend the rest of your life with this person, and the relationship ended, you were devastated BUT you meet somebody else eventually and realise that you thought you were in love in the previous relationship, and you may have been, but in the new one it is like soo much stronger and it makes you realise what love is and that it is not what you truly thought you felt with the old person, its so much more... i hope that makes since i just want to hear some stories if that actually happens, it would be good to know.

yep :) i was engaged a few years ago, and thought i was truly completely in love... then it ended. i was no longer in love with him and i knew it. it wasn't the healthiest relationship either, so that didn't help.

and then... almost exactly 2 yrs after that engagement ended, i met my current love. i plan to spend the rest of my life with him.. but then i felt that i would since i first started talking to him, honestly. it's hard to explain but i know how you feel :)

yep. i was young...only a freshman in high school and i was so in love (or so i thought) with this guy, but when i look back on it, he was rude, obnoxious, immature and only wanted to have sex with me (which didnt happen). when i went off to college i met my boyfriend and we are crazy about each other after a yr and a half and i know this is the first time ive ever really been in love

it happened to me too and i drew a conclusion that there is no "right one" just the one whose pieces of puzzles fit the most...

our personalities are like puzzles and certain people have matching pieces of this or that trait and two people oposite ser have matching pieces of traits that fit together and the more you get the better it works, but everybody is different and the variety is unexpected...

well so its never a perfect match just different we need to search for the most comfortable one where the most pieces are connected
