Hello people! I'm at Oxford University, England I am going to be writing a thesis on the impact hippies, student and youth movements had on ending Vietnam. The problem is, a lot of the sources are underground publications likeThe Berkeley Barb, The San Francisco Oracle, Rat, Old Mole, The Great Speckled Bird, Liberation, Ramparts, Kaleidoscope, Resist, Leviathan etc which I can't get hold of. We aren't allowed to use internet versions because of problems with authenticity and we have to reference the pages/volumes/dates etc. If anybody has any of these magazines with articles related to motivating people against Vietnam and the successes of youth activites could you photocopy (I think you call is Xerox!) them for me and post them? I would be eternally greatful-I want to give these people justice in ending an unjust war! I hope you can help me! Sarah
Yeah - OZ, Frendz and IT were all uk underground mags that featured anti-war stuff. A library is the answer.
