you know that really basic blues riff, the one you always hear, that you can get people to improvise lyrics to. "i got the blues, craft, macaroni and cheeeeese! i got the blues!" yea, that one. what are the tabs for it?

    cheers

to be honest, i wasnt thinking about the kraft commercial when i was writing this post. i had just watched dawsons creak (dont shoot me, i was bored and it was the only thing on) and some of the characters were singing on stage with a blues band who was playing for them

    guess that doesnt help much

    A 12bar would be:

    E E E E
    A A E E
    B A E E

Thats a very basic version, and theres loads of variations. The best way to learn the blues is to listen to it. The chords are always very simple to pick up. Good luck with it.

I guess u just mean the tune u get when u play 1,1,3,3,4,4,3,3 on any string, or the same finger position beginning anywhere on the fretboard, but it cant get more basic then that. Try it with powerchords, then u get
    3 3, 5 5, 6 6, 5 5
    3 3, 5 5, 6 6, 5 5
    1 1, 3 3, 4 4, 3 3

Check out http://pego.be/blues/ for some blues basics.. Have fun!
