b5, v-ger, ds9, blake's 7, dr who, oh and of course 'are you being served' and 'benny hill', lexx was perversly amusing, precisely by being so premeditatedly wrong, kind of like loki and grandfather coyote. mixed feelings about black adder. archer was something housemates were into where i lived, oh and then there was mongrels. n.c.i.s. seems to be a thing these days, although its starting to get to where i've seen most of the episodes on recognize the ones i don't care for when they come on. nova of course, i can't think any time right off its ever dissapointed me, although occasionally even that can be painful. i think there are a lot of cop shows that are a really negative influence for real life cops who should probably never watch them. most sitcoms i think are kind of boring. i don't go to a lot of movies, like about one every two or three years or longer. i watch most of the news programs if i happen to be watching when they're on, but seldom turn on the box just to watch them. really about 2/3 if not closer to 9/10ths, all the action adventure idiots shooting each other and beating each other over the head just annoy me, even if some of the over the top stunts are good for a grin or two, just because they are so over the top, lots of magic, fx and techno eye candy, are what i enjoy, when that doesn't devolve into idiots beating each other over the head. i'd really like to see more of places, without the faces of human narrators photo-bombing them. and of creative imaginary places too. oh mggooo you've done it again. misread scenes as series. even though i've replied to this in more proper context before, somehow my multo-meal for brains thought this was a new and different thread. probably because i'm getting ready to fall back asleep, like any good cat in the middle of the day.
the one where the cat messes up the wrecking ball machine the realestate guy was trying to destroy the house of his brother who was the magic show guy and drops the wrecking ball on the realestate guy's fancy car. in das magic's house / thundar. francis meeting the street dog guy in fellidae. when the endangered species in india decide to go together to the capitol to protest, i don't think i ever did learn the name of the movie that was in. some of the things done by amadia albee. there was something about a show at a museum. there's the tgv ride in the opening of that thing about that cartoon fox detective that was on french tv that someone linked to on youtube. the train ride into town in the opening of zootopia and the howlers, yah, that bit was amusing. a stop motion thing called "nine", burlap sack people and lightbulbs. kind of a skiffy alien setting. laloo's thing with the berries on the beach. that OTHER animated thing he was famous for, well the incall thing with jon d'fool. not sure why, but visually.
The owner of the company pulled this on me yesterday to come in today, and being salaried I can work all the overtime I want.
I am a movie buff, and I watch very wide variety of films. The only movies I am not greatly fond of are sports and war. But the movie and truly caught my attention through purely screen play is The Man from Earth (2007) - IMDb. I had watched in once every five years or so. Brilliant movie.
