Where am I?

This all began some while ago. I think it was Monday or Tuesday of this week. i stumbled upon this place. And now here I am. What I am doing, I am not sure. I am here.

Is this part of the experiment? I don't know. What experiment? Who me? Who am I talking to?

I am experiencing what Alvin Toffler titled his book there,
Future Shock . Excuse me for rambling. Where culture shock is the shock one might experience when one transposes one's self to another culture, so future shock is the shock one experiences when the future crops up all of a sudden all around one. The shockof having to adapt fairly quickly to different enviromental situations.

And so I bear the futuristic sounding online pseudonym 'is542'. Hmm. It was even assigned to me, somewhat.

We connect in 'Forums'. Forums. How spacey is that. There is even the whifff of paranoia, a standard requirement in any futuristic scenario; the notion that we are all being watched, in a technological way. And we are. It's neat to watch this watching mechanism emerge. There's something almost spontaneous or accidental about it. And itis all decentralized and facelass, and things may not be what they appear to be. Neat.

So please excuse my shock, future-wise that is.
