Hey all, just wanted to check in here 'cause i've a feeling i'll be on this site a bit. In the process of relocating to TX (either austin or san antonio) from an area of new mexico with a couple small towns that are still sort of off the map (they are on maps actually, but still kind of hidden. no local cops, no starbucks, not even a gas station...lots of folks out on the land. being here in texas is a little freaky, i know there are cool folks out here, i just gotta connect with 'em. I'm mostly into music; listening, creating, playing. my stuff the last bunch of years has been way on the country side, with some electric rock, even slight punk influence. mostly aiming to make folks smile and dance. i play guitar and mandolin. peace, keith
Head to Austin if Growth/Progress doesn't bother you otherwise head to the Peninsula. It's of the beaten path yet close enough to some cool places for homegrown music...a Time Warp of sorts...
I'm new here too.Austin is the place to go.. I'm stuck north of dallas, man. Sure I'll see ya at some show's though. I get all around to state and else where
Ft Worth's not that far from you and they have bout anything One would want. It's much more cordial than dallas ever dreamed of being...*L*
Well, now I'm rethinking all this and trying to find a place in one of the small towns around austin. just been out of the think for too long to move right into a big city like that
