why do you need to get married, then? why a bride? you want to marry a woman to hang out with her and bang her a lot. sounds like you want,
1)a friend, and 2)sex.
so get a friend to hang out with, and get a hooker. why marriage?

If it is a program from overseas, like from Asia or something, women get into those things to escape a life of poverty. Or they are forced into it by their parents to get the money. Naturally I do not approve of selling women like they were objects.

i think almost every human being i know is interested in at least SOME form of love...unless perhaps you lost that time as a baby where you got to really connect with your parents. it is true that we aren't born knowing how to fall in love or love other people. we learn it from our parents, or the people who took care of us as infants. were you abused or neglected as a young child?

and about the mail-order bride thing...most of those women want a way to become an american citizen. they don't want to come hang out with you and bang you. they just want a better life. most of these mail-order "relationships" end in divorce in a matter of a few years because, like i said, these women are just trying to escape the lives they have now.

it would be a waste of your time and money to go over there, because you are going to end up hurting more people in the long run. be human and let it be. if you just want someone to fuck, why get married to a stranger? why not just find a fuckbuddy? duhhhhhhhhhh.

I can't say I like the idea of Mail Order Bride, but since I'm not the one looking for one... the thing is, how do you know you're not getting scammed? And what about the girl? What about what she really wants? She probably doesn't want to be married off to some guy she doesn't know, let alone have feelings for.

 

i guess some of the programs are legit and in most cases, the women are doing this by choice, but like some others have said before, this person you marry would be a PERSON, and it's not like you can just bang her when you want...she's not a sextoy. a lot of these women want to escape a life of poverty and that is the sole reason they are doing what they do. it's really sad, actually. someone before mentioned a case where it actually worked out. those people got lucky, man...but some of these organizations are actually women being sold into slavery...they're shady. but in most cases, the mail order bride thing isn't so much that...i dunno. it's weird how people think sometimes.

 

So, once she got here & you two were married, if she quit putting out, you'd be cool with that? You would be happy to just give someone an opportunity to get out of a place that, well, they probably don't hate but where they have no opportunities to get out of poverty? If so, then cool. As long as there are mail-order bride places out there, someone with that outlook is better than the assholes who would beat her into submission when she didn't want to be a domestic slave or rape her when she didn't want to have sex (which is the typical stereotype of the type of male that would need to use such a service to find a bride, I have no idea how many actually fit that stereotype).

It still creates an imbalance of power -- it's not like the personals ads in your local newspaper. These women list themselves in order to escape poverty & to try to help their families (send back money to help them). You have the power in that situation, which is something you will have to work hard to balance out if you actually want this to work.

autistics don't really need love, neither do certain types of schizophrenic or sociopath, from that point many simply choose to be disinterested in it, I myself am high functioning autistic (I.Q. 156, not learning disabled at all, just have different analytic and emotional architecture {sp?}) Some scientists have come forward saying autisics don't have emotion at all, that is bull shit of course but it just shows you that some people indeed have no interest in love, I'm sure that there are "normal" people who have no interest in love either

I'm really sorry that you don't believe in love, or that it doesn't interest you. I could be wrong, but I wonder if you've been really hurt by someone before, and that is why your image of love is so jaded.

Either way, resorting to mail-order brides at this point in your life seems a bit hasty considering your age.
