hi all, i just recently found out i have the disease listed in my title i am not quite sure on how i should go about treating this as i am a bit shy in going to a doctor about it, also is it cureable, if u havent got a serious reply dont bother in posting
"the process by which semen is expelled into the bladder instead of out of the penis This results from a results from a reversed functioning of the two urethral sphincters ( the internal sphincter relaxes while the external sphincter contracts) many things can induce this : prostate surgery, illness, congenital anomaly, and certain drugs (most notable tranquilizers) a man who consistently experiences this response should seek medical attention not only because the effective result is sterility but also because it could be a sign of an underlying health problem." Crooks and Bauer, Our Sexuality 9th edition. so yes, please go see a doctor about it! i'm assuming from this it may be curable, but definitely go see a doctor.
That's because a lot of it is going into your bladder. It's pretty much what tigerlily said. Unless you've recently had some kind of prostate or urinary surgery, the most likely cause is going to be medications or drugs. Are you taking any kind of medications? Definitely go to a doctor, preferably a urologist. Btw, if you haven't been to a doctor, how do you know you even have retrograde ejaculation?
I've wondered about this myself. At 77, I've noticed that very little comes out when I have aw n orgasm and sometimes nothing comes out. Either my prostate isn't making it anymore or I'm having retrograde ejaculation. One benafit is that I can masturbate and have no clean up. However, I kinda miss the feel.of a good squirt. Orgasms are still great.
I have had retrograde ejaculation ever since I had laser surgery on my prostate. Orgasms seems a bit more intense but very little ejaculate.
An old Bi guy I knew did that all the time. He was post op with prostate problems and this was the result of his op. It didn't matter to him as he was just having fun with men, and it was convenient for him to not make too much mess.
I never heard of it being a illness but rather boys would hold their penis tight during masturbation to prevent ejaculation forcing seamen into the bladder instead which is extremely bad to do for many reasons.
I've had this due to medications, and after discussing with my Urologist, he told me this does no harm in any way. After reducing my meds, I don't have that issue any longer.
Visit your urologist. I had a few issues that I needed to work out. One was very little ejaculate and my urologist discussed my options. She told me that it was mostly due to my age and also some meds that I was on. Nothing to worry about but the best advice should come from your doc.
I am exactly the same as you at 75 no cum at all you are right easy to clean up but I sure do miss tasting my cum.
