Hi guys haven't been around in awhile but thought I would stop by and post my drawing that I am working on. Its me after a really bad car accident. Its one piece of a three piece set. Before, after, and present. But anyhow this is the WIP of "After"
It looks like it was extremly painful . The drawing it's self is looking real good, your getting more realistic like with this one. looking forward to seeing the whole set.

thank you girls. It definately hurt, and still does. I have metal seams throughout my forehead and under my right eye. I am normally pretty good at the realism aspect, it just depends on how long I am going to work on the piece. Time for quality, I think lol. Well here is the finished piece. By the way this happened 4 months ago. I don't look this bad anymore.
Definately the healing process! But I do feel way better now, I think its more emotionally than physically at this point. Glad you like it Crystal, I am starting on the other two right now.

Oh my, what can I say? There´s this tragic accident on the one side, which gets me all sad and these horribly damn great done drawings on the other side, which get me all excited and admireing (spl). Now I´m confused.
Weep you're such a beautiful gal! You should send me another picture of you recently. I think you make a wonderful drawing model. You showed me the baby pictures, but do you have any recent ones?

I liked how you posted your progression on the Before picture. It's satisfying to see the fine light strokes becoming more boldly defined. Of course, the subject matter of the first pictures is just tragic. Has your creativity helped you to deal with the recovery process?
I love your art. It almost hurts me to look at the After one, but that's just a human emotion, ya dig?
Awww thanks guys! The accident actually really hurt the creativity for a bit. But once I got back on the horse, well I think I have more perspective than what I started with. As long as I can create my art, I feel good. Nathan your such a rockin guy! Glad you like my stuff, its not exactly a merry topic, but its something I have to finish so hope you'll watch for the finished project!
Beck, I am glad you like my work! The accident didn't hurt as much as fixing my face did. That saying; "Feels like I got hit by a truck!" Is exactly the way it sounds, I swear!!!
*blush* You´re so sweet!!! The recent pics are the ones which are allready in my gallery. I´ll get newer ones soon (we have a new computer and will get a scanner and such, YAY).
