birds at midnight?

maybe ive jsut never noticed itbefore

but im relaly stoned

and it seems rather wierd that there are HEAPS of birds outside squaking

and its 11 pm

 

holy shit some of these bird calls are godamn amazing, ive never ever in my life heard anything like them.. its like theres a bird song war going on, with birdsongs that are chattering like guns and others sounding proud trills and bold chirps

 

Get ready for mating season.

 

I haven't heard any birds lately. They have all flown south to Flordia for the winter, just like the old people.

 

How cool is that? I bought a bird book when I moved up here and have made it a point to identify all the birds that come into my yard. I've seen lots of different kinds and we even have a sharp-shinned hawk that flys through the woods and comes and eats one of our songbirds every now and then.

 

It is the winter time here, but in the summer birds sing all night long. They are really cool.
