Yeah, it's sort of like a cross between corn and potatos, in flavor anyway. And like Tigerlily said, it's all over the south.

i wonder if you can growem on baked beans

 

Can't you grow them on rice cakes or something similar?

 

try the supermarket canned veg section .....they do so have it in boston ,,,i grew up there and worked in stores
