yeah cool, how far would i be travelling from Newcastle, to get there? And August moon did you say they have drumming workshops sessions etc. Yeah ill bring along my jembes etc. thanks for the info, fellas.
Hi! From Newcastle I would say it would take 9-10 hours, providing you get a good run through Sydney and drive at a cruisy speed with lots of stop-revive-survive's on the way. I'm pretty sure the best way to go is to Albury and then down and across to Deniliquin. Glad to hear you are coming too!! Are you coming with friends? Yes there will be lots of drumming workshops along with many others workshops too. Check out the huge blackboards where the timetables for the week are written up. love&peace august_moon
cool yeah its not definet just yet. However im really hoping to go, however if it doestn haPPEn this time, therell be heapa more chances. peace vibes. p.s. that so cool there alota drumming workshops, i hope there some beautiful meditation spots on sunrise.
Just wondering,,,, is anyone coming from Newcastle,,, i have to try and organise a lift home. Well at least to a major town which has trains running to Newcastle,, Sydney etc. thanks all. Peace Vibes.
I've been to many festivals ( byron blues, meradith, earthcore, falls, rainbow serpent tribadelic...) and have found that drugs are accepted, i was just wondering how accepted acid, e, nangs... are at confest. I don't want to rock up and upset people because i got the wrong idea of what confest is. I'm happy to just smoke if it isn't cool. Is there certain villages that they would camp at.
They don't mind you taking any drugs per se as long as you are discreat about it.Grog is ok as long as it is out of cans.Glass of any kind is not really acceptable because it can get get broken and many people walk around bare foot. The most important thing is that YOU BEHAVE YOURSELF! Drunk & disorderly behavior is NOT acceptable. People come to Confest to have a good time. This is spoilt if others get drunk & disorderly or become violent as a result of taking drugs.Just because a woman is walking around topless it does not mean she is necessarily looking for sex!People who do not behave themselves are asked to leave! Ie don't start bothering anyone! The $50 ticket includes two hours' of your voluntary time. Not necessarly hard work.
hey my name alisha im just wondering if the easter confest id like the summerm one i went to the summer one a couple of years ago now im going to the easter one and im lookin forward to it coz the last one was a blast.. cheerio
It's on the nymboida river west of grafton on the north coast of NSW, 14-28 April with seed/cleanup camps before and after. peace xx
Hey Lulubelle, you should have started a new thread. Having said that I am quite interested. Is it like a Confest, all voluntary labour, steam tents, communal tub, skinny dipping, workshops?
I'm not too sure as I only just learned of this one myself and discovered that it's in connection with the rainbow family. I pretty sure that it would be volunteer based like C though. Confest is next weekend. Yay! We have also decided to stay on for a few days in the Barmah state forest afterwards. Coming home after last years was so depressing!! (It could have had something to do with out buisness burning down just two weeks before though ) So this year we are going to chill out for a few days in the forest before we come home. Have you had any luck finding a ride home positive_vibes? peace August x
hahaha no one wants to give me a lift . Its ok,, if not im looking at the Sydney confest, on Anzac day weekend.
Good for you P_V man. I'm more than sure that you will meet lots of people there and that a ride to/from the next one down this way is inevitable! good for you buddy, have fun at the syd one ok but I'll be thinking of you at easter!!! have fun peace
I would love so much to join the easter ConFest but more than 22000 Kms between us is a big obstacle. ConFest is so wonderful ! Anyhow I'll be with you by the heart. Enjoy and spread Love all over this gorgeous festival...
