    The Mach Five

Speed Racer’s car was custom made for him by his father, Pops Racer. in 1967, styled after high-end European Formula 1 race cars of the day

The vehicle is equipped with impressive array of technology features, each activated by a button on the steering wheel.

Button A activates the auto jacks to lift the car for repairs and to jump,
Button B is for Belt Tires,
Button C is a handy set of saw blades for cutting down trees.
Button D is for the Deflector shield,
Button E is for the high beams with infrared helmet cam.
Frogger Mode is activated by Button F, which raises the periscope so that the Mach V can be driven under water.
The final button on the steering wheel activates the homing robot, which can fly, send messages.
