Stoned Accents

Whenever you get stoned do you or any of your smoking buddies acquire random accents that they can't seem to get rid of? Sometimes I get this British accent like Cruella DeVille and everyone thinks I've gone mad. I finally started talking about something with potholes and saying potholes with an accent is damn funny stoned or not. Also whenever we're around our friend Rob, he has a very strong Boston accent and everyone else starts talking like him because we're all from the south. If you don't know what I'm talking about, find someone with a Boston accent and have them say, "I'm going out to the harbor on my boat and I'm gonna go harpoon me some whales." Haha, "Hahpoooon." It's the greatest.

 

My voice gets a little deeper. However someone once told me I sounded like a jewish New Yorker when I was stoned, now I make a conscience effort not to speak like that.

 

only time my voice changes is when i got cottonmouth or sometimes its scratchy from the smoke.

I found that people always think I'm being sarcastic when I'm stoned..... I don't get it...

 

My voice gets deeper and SOMETIMES I end up talking like Ozzy, and dont know it.

But other than that I just studder a lot.

 

erm not really but i do find that me an my mates laugh go more high pitched than they usually are! its great cause wen one of us starts laughin the other one laughs at that persons laugh, which in turn makes the other guy laugh even harder......and so on....

 

just a thought .i talk many accents when stoned . wonder if it is like a past lifetimes coming through ............hmmm........arhdatwouldbeitted /peace/

i like doing irish the most

but lately ive been doing italian/jewish new yorker caus my school is putting on Guys n Dolls and ive been doing joey biltmore, for those who know the musical

 

For some reason i can start talking with this wierd canadian-like accent when im blowed. Kinda like a Mad scientist would talk.

i must say i dont think ive ever known someone to talk in a lower pitch when stoned, that generally comes with being drunk.. lol my drunk laugh is like some low droning chuckle 'hehehehehe'

 

It sounds like I'm another person when I'm stoned. I keep hearing my accent and thinking I sound like a dumbass. One of my friends is always really uptight when he's stoned and now he says he quit. He was always like "STFU YOU'RE FAKING IT" to everybody and that's all he'd ever say... Haha, one time we were with his parents while he was stoned and he started yelling it at his mom and she stared at him in a "wtf are you talking about" kind of stare. Hahaha... his mom doesn't mind as long as we don't get in trouble outside of the house...

We did tear some things up this one time. He collects swords and all this stuff and he spilled a dr. pepper and his sister got so pissed so she threw a bottle of acetone in his room and we were all stoned off our asses. Then he started coming after us with a sword and he tried to attack one of us and the sword went through the damn wall... then I got really pissed and was like "stop it dammit.. you're going to kill somebody" so I ripped his door off and threw it through the window and then he started yelling "WE'RE SO WASTED" at this dude who lives across the street... ahahhaha. One time, we made sure the bathroom was sealed off and we got so much smoke in it, we couldn't see each other and then we opened the windows ahahah...

 

my sentences start off loud and inthuiastic, then i realize no ones interested in what im saying (me most of the time),thats when they dribble off into quiet mermering

 

i usualy starts talking with a phoney-balloney jamaican accent.

omg that's awesome! i thought my bestest friend roxy was the only one. she gets a canadian accent sometimes, and sometimes a scottish/irish accent. it's funny as hell. i dont think i sound different though.

 

One time I was chillin with two of my friends and we were insanely high....well I was so ripped that I spoke entirely in Spanish the whole night...and the thing is.....I don't even speak spanish...like I learned a little in hs but I can barely put a sentence together!!! My friend Ben speaks spanish and said that everything made sense and shit!!!

What is a Canadian accent? I live in the backwoods and dont get out much.

I thought it was like a New England accent.

I have my own weird accent mixed with Southern and New England, although none of my family came, or lives up north. Its weird.
