This happened many moons ago but when my husband and I were dating we were having a fight and he told me I was very unintelligent.

I left there pondering on that comment. Then it hit me. He called me stupid. At that point I felt very stupid but even more stupid because he was right.

He doesn't feel that way now. That was years ago when we were real hot heads. I actually learned something about myself from that comment. The fact that I didn't "get it" when he called me that only proved how right he really was. I can laugh about it now.
