Slavery was abolished in the Constitution, so no. He might have questioned some old Black Code law that never got changed though.

Hm, I just got a fun idea... check whether there are any ridiculous laws like this in your area and break them, then post about it... I think I'm going to do that... 'cept I'm not sure if there are any, I've never heard of a similar site about Dutch laws. Still worth looking into though!

Bah, the only two Dutch laws the dumblaws site names is that you can carry a small amount of weed legally and that prostitution is legal, neither of which I would call 'dumb'... those two must've been submitted by some right-wing republican to be classified as such! I'll try 'n find a real Dutch site... I think there's some town where wearing a costume is against the law 'cept for carneval (our 'halloween' when everyone dresses up) but I can't remember where it was...
