I've had my hair long for ages but recently I've noticed it's feeling a little unloved. It's getting knotted really easily and is fine at the roots but looking a bit dry and unhappy at the ends. I don't like to over wash it or use too many products on it but is there anything any of you long haired people use that you could reccommend? I thought about some aussie leave-in conditioner or something, my sister uses it and says it makes her hair feel and smell nice. I'd like something natural but that will really work.

I would say maybe get your ends trimmed off... I get mine trimmed off about once a year... just to keep the hair looking healthy... but also revtalizing conditioners work pretty well.

when I had long hair, I would have to use a hot oil treatment on my hair to keep it in tact. And that Aussie stuff is really good too, I'm using it right now.

I have reeally long hair, and when the ends start getting icky, I cut them off. If you leave it for too long without trimming, then it'll damage all your hair, and you'll have to get it all cut off.

I would also recommend getting a little trim, just to make the ends healthier. If you're looking for something natural, I work at The Body Shop (all natural products) and we have two really good hair masks, the poppy seed oil and the brazil nut. From what you're describing, I would recommend the Brazil Nut. Use it just like conditioner but leave it in a bit longer. Most malls and some airports have the Body Shop, and they have them throughout England because they started there! Good luck!

I never thought about the Body Shop for shampoos and hair stuff but I'll definately go and check out what they have, I use alot of their body products and they're very yummy.

GPB conditioner from Aurbrey Organics is great...it is very thick, leaves hair feeling incredibly soft, and smells like heaven...and is totally natural. A little trim on the ends would likely help too...Good luck!

Get the ends trimmed and use Pantene Pro V. It works.

I usually put in a teaspoon of my favorite conditioner. (I love Kenra conditioner) distilled water and a few drops of rosemary oil into a very small spray bottle. SHAKE, Then spray that onto your hair every day.

    good luck melancholy!

When I had long hair (and my god, it was so long! I miss it!) I trimmed it once every three months...usually no more than half an inch. I used tresemme conditioner and I made sure that none of the shampoos I bought had any type of alcohol in them...I had the healthiest hair...:( Now I've ruined it! :&

Yes, you should try them, I can't live without the shampoo! They might have slightly different products in England, but sometimes they are the same. Anyway, you should definitely check them out!:)

I have long hair and the only way i can keep it healthy is if i condition everyday. If i miss a day it gets all icky. I have really thick hair that likes to go frizzy...i hate it but i'd miss it if i cut it off.
