Hospital food is the worse. Ask if you are allowed food delivery from outside. Happy that you are recovering

 

its not always-- but dang they had me down once for low sodium and they sent a pickle with lunch------ have you ever had a LOW SODIUM pickle-------- i'd rather had a cucumber------ to eat!! ------- but this was the worse thing i've ever had to eat at a hospital.......

 

There is no denying it ............................hospitals saves lives...............True or False.....I

Now admit it Kathy darlin' - t'was the Brandy what done it !!! and made you well again.

 

Its called a Tension Neumo Thorax - and yes it is very painful Kathy darlin'. This time Brandy won't help, but liquid morphine (Oromorph) may help to lessen the pain. Thinking of you Kathy darlin'.

 

Best wishes for a full recovery. I was in the hospital for pneumonia last year and on IV antibiotics. Please know my prayers are with you, Sister.

At least you are at the hospital when it happened. Collapsed lung is no fun!

 

awe i missed that, so sorry for the set back

 

Oh, no! Never had that happen to me, but my daughter was born with hyaline membrane disease and her lungs collapsed. She had to stay in the intensive care unit for newborns for over a month with chest tubes in her. She is now middle aged, but still has scars from the chest tubes.
