trump has created a core of extremist who adhere a dangerous philosophy (if one can call it that), and the more violent and dangerous amoung those people need to be taken seriously and removed from society to prison. Here is why: you have a few thousand people who stormed the capital to prevent the results of an election from being honored. Even the judges have pointed out that many sentences are too light. You have the military recently decide they would not members of extremist groups from joining or remaining in the service, to cite just two things. If you ignore such conduct it will embolden people inclined to do this to do so again. I am certain many of those who received light sentences for storming the capital will wear the convictions as badges of honor. Some of these idiots tried to kidnap to governor of Michigan. People died during the capital seige yet no one thus far is being charged with homicide. These people will continue to do this type of thing unless the government clamps down hard on those who engage in threats and violence. We would do well to remember, hitler failed his first attempt to seize power only to come back stronger the second time and suceed...
