I bought 'The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking' and 'Radio KAOS', and liked them when they came out. The Wall - Live was great with all the guest musicians.

His best work is definitely with the Floyd, though.

I used to look favorably upon some of Waters' solo work, but that didn't last long.

However, Waters' first solo album/collaboration with Ron Geesin, titled Music From the Body (1970) is a great piece of collage music. I recommend it to anyone who likes Frank Zappa's experimental, late 60's works.

As far as Waters' other solo albums, they sound too clean and professional for their own good. I just can't stand music with ultra-sleek production and uber-professional, super-bland musicianship. One word comes to mind and that's BORING.
