When you get your drivers license here in Australia, you are asked whether you will become an organ donator. What would you say if the question of donating your organs arose ? I vote yes, as long as they dont take em until im done with em.
Not donating your organs is the most selfish thing one can do. Donating your organs could save millions of lives (if they are used in research). Even if the organs donated only save 2 or 3 lives, don't you think it is worth it. It is something you don't need at all. Are you kidding???
I'm a organ donor. I have no fear of when they are taken. I believe we leave this earthly realm when we are due and not before, and hopefully they may help someone in some way.
I used to work on a transplant ward at Sydney's Childrens hospital, it was very exciting to see dying kids receive a transplant and lead a healthy life again..
I vote 'no' on my licence, but I have told my family that they can override that decision if they wish and there is little to no possiblity of recovery.
Why would they purpously kill you to get your organs? They aren't going to let you die in order to save someone else....cos they have the same number of dead bodies anyway.Donation means they will be able to help other people, not kill you off! hehehe

when i went for my l's they never asked me -- but im a donor anyway. i figure that if i can't use 'em someone else might a well.
