And so far they're stepping on their dicks. Joe, you NEED to show a little life, you're practically invisible and if you don't do something about it soon, mid term are going to eat the democrats alive. Who the hell though putting his global summit during an election season? He NEEDED to get out there and stump in Virginia - it's the tip of the iceberg. He NEEDS to publicly call out Manchin doing a disservice to his constituents.

Saw the President tooling around in Rome in a large auto convoy, had a tet-a-tete with Pope Francis, Now Mr. Biden is in Scotland at a futile climate conference.

Trump is did a tele-rally the day before the Virginia governor election so that he can claim it was his rally that made Youngkin win, assuming he wins.

Trump’s ‘Heads I win, tails you lose’ play in Virginia

    excerpt:

"The underlying message is hardly subtle: If Youngkin wins, Trump will take credit. If he loses, he won’t take blame.

“If there’s one constant with Donald Trump, it’s that he’s going to declare himself the winner —regardless of the outcome,” said Tucker Martin, an adviser to that Gillespie campaign, which struggled when faced with a similar Trump balancing act back in 2013.

Trump’s insistence on becoming part of the dialogue in the nation’s most-watched governor’s race comes at a time of uncertainty for his post-presidency, with national Republicans barely hiding their hopes that a Youngkin victory would show a way for a Republican to win a battleground state without Trump's imprimatur. It is, his aides concede, a thinly-veiled attempt to demonstrate his continued prominence within the GOP.

“What Trump wants is for Republicans to win who support his agenda. And Youngkin does,” said one adviser, who spoke on condition of anonymity to talk freely. “The fact is that this is still Trump’s party and it’s his base that will push Glenn over the top. Youngkin needs Trump’s base more than Trump needs Youngkin. But he wants him to win.”"

Trump also told the people of Virginia to go out and vote (in a system that is supposedly overrun with fraud that favors Democrats).

Sanford firefighter pleads guilty to charge related to U.S. Capitol riot

    excerpt:

"SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — A Sanford firefighter pleaded guilty to a charge stemming from his participation in the U.S. Capitol riot, according to a plea deal signed last week.

Andrew Williams, who has been a firefighter/paramedic with the Sanford Fire Department since 2016, pleaded guilty to a charge of parading, demonstrating or picketing in a Capitol building.

A photo shared from inside the Capitol on Jan. 6 appeared to show Williams inside the building.

Williams was placed on unpaid leave from the fire department pending the results of an internal investigation into his participation.

On Tuesday, the Sanford Fire Department said Williams will remain on administrative leave without pay pending a final sentencing hearing, and an administrative investigation that will become active following the sentencing hearing.:"

An Arizona court is going to decide whether to hold the state Senate in contempt for failing to hand over documents from the Cyber Ninjas 'audit'

    excerpt:

"An Arizona court is set to decide early next month whether to hold the Republican-led state Senate in contempt for failing to hand over documents related to the partisan, Cyber Ninjas review of ballots cast in the 2020 election.

On Tuesday, Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Michael Kemp set a hearing for December 2 to address the lack of compliance with his earlier ruling that the documents should be handed over.

Attorneys for the state Senate, which commissioned the review of Maricopa County's 2.1 million ballots, have said some of the documents are protected by "legislative privilege," an argument the court rejected last month.

"It is hard to imagine more serious litigation than the disclosure of documents underlying an audit of the election of the President of the United States and a United States Senator," Judge Kemp wrote at the time. "This goes to the heart of our democracy and this audit was done in response to allegations of fraud and corruption.""

Trump urges judge to slow down Jan. 6 investigators’ access to records

    excerpt:

"Former President Donald Trump is pleading with a federal judge in Washington to slow down the Jan. 6 committee’s effort to obtain his White House records, instead asking her to order a document-by-document review that could take months.

In a 33-page filing, Trump’s attorney is asking Judge Tanya Chutkan to reject the House’s effort to obtain documents from the former president’s White House that he says should be shielded by executive privilege. President Joe Biden has declined to assert privilege on Trump’s records, leaving Trump’s lawsuit as the only obstacle to Congress obtaining his records.

Anything less, says lawyer Jesse Binnall, would erode the presidency itself by granting unfettered access for Congress into the records of a former president.

“This Court should refuse to allow Defendants’ naked political ploy and preserve the institution of the presidency,” Binnall writes."

Youngkin won the governor election in VA.

Trump can now say that his tele-rally the day before the election is what made Youngkin win.

It wasn't trump and McAuliffe's defeat was no bellwether, the guy was a dirt-bag.

The FBI investigated him for illegal campaign finance activity in 2013, and back in 2004 Ralph Nader accused McAuliffe of trying to bribe him to stay off the ballot

Now I've seen everything (And yet I suspect it going to get even worse)

QAnon conspiracy theorists gathered in downtown Dallas to await the return of John F. Kennedy, Jr., who died in 1999.

Believers say the return of JFK Jr. in the city and spot where his father died in 1963 would begin the reinstatement of Donald Trump as President.

A long time ago there was a country western song titled "I've got some beachfront property in Arizona" and every one of these idiots who think Trump would be reinstated could be a customer for beach front property in Arizona.

Trump campaign payments for ‘command centers’ at D.C. hotels could undermine executive privilege claim in Jan. 6 investigation

    excerpt:

"The use of campaign funds “further undermines a wildly broad assertion of executive privilege” by Trump, said Richard Ben-Veniste, a former Watergate prosecutor. “Executive privilege is typically limited to the protection of communications involving a president’s official duties — not to those relating to personal or political campaign matters,” Ben-Veniste said.

Conservative lawyer Alan Dershowitz disputed that assessment, claiming that “a lot of things that are done on behalf of an incumbent president are done by campaigns.”

But fellow conservative and former Justice Department official John Yoo agreed with Ben-Veniste. “If he acts as a president, he gets these things we talk about — executive privilege and immunity. But if he’s acting as a candidate, he’s deprived of all of those protections,” said Yoo, one of the stalwart conservative legal scholars who advised Pence’s staff that there was no basis for the vice president to intervene in the counting of electoral votes on Jan. 6."

You know ... I want to use the term "delusional" but somehow I don't think it is strong enough here. This must be a new form of mental illness.
