The SUN has been shining here in North Wales today so....
Wifey and I went to Llandudno earlier today, and I bought Wifey a really lovely winter coat, along with 3 sets of comfy Jim Jams and 2 Pairs of mittens.

£108 that lot cost me.
Can anyone lend me some money now please?

Local meteorologist are using words like Bomb cyclone and Bombogenesis

HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM TUESDAY TO 2 PM EDT WEDNESDAY...

WHAT...Northeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected.
WHERE...Portions of eastern, northeastern and southeastern Massachusetts and southern Rhode Island.
WHEN...From 2 PM Tuesday to 2 PM EDT Wednesday.
IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

They do tend to over-do-it but in this case the storm is taking the exact same track as the blizzard of 1978 only rain instead of snow,

If we had astronomically high tides rather than astronomically low tides you would be hearing about this storm for weeks with massive
destruction all along the coast. Instead just some splash-over with minor coastal flooding.

 

Rain , Rain and more Rain. Flash flood warnings. Other then that it is a nice day lol
