I have been a hippy for a while now, I came into it because some of my family are the old hippys(1960-) and i have a lot of hippy friends. I want to see what its all about, but where can I go just to see what its like? P.S. If its somewhere around Southern California that would be awsome but it doesn't have to be.

Howdy to both of you, If you peruse these pages on the hipforums (fairly soon as the yearly pruning is overdue - please note there are 12 pages of posts), you will find at least 6 ongoing, fairly newly establishing gatherings of people, attempting to manifests the communities of like-minded individuals. Each one has a different flavor - and each demands that you look inside to See what like-minded means to you. Our attempt here in the finger lakes region of N.Y. , going from the members already involved is much about the Waysharing (name of personal forum and thread trying to somewhat clearly express that concept). However, we are planning on passing this community on to people who come and make it their own, to go on and build several other communities and travel before we settle into any one (?) community The open door and sharing of many communities is a vision that is resounding at this time - most of all the communities growing and manifesting are on very good speaking terms with the others and plan on staying in close contact. A coming together and traveling on to come together again and again to share the spaces we've harvested in our individual experiences in Growing..
