If you can stay in church and leave church at the same time, Wall Street is looking for talented people. They lost their religion, a long time ago...

 

I thought their religion was profit at all costs though.

 

That's recruitment bullshit, to make them sound tough. The truth is, their ethics go up and down with the stock market, and computers will soon replace them all. My work is in automating instant karma, leveraging the butterfly effect more often, to give even the international cartels a run for their money.

 

I’m truly staggered at the thought of someone believing in any God. The concept is beyond ridiculous

 

Modern science has already managed to quantify humor, but has yet to determine if God is ridiculous, or just warped.

 

what if god was not one, but all of us, and the reason everything doesn't work the way each of us want to, is because we are all different and want different things,
which is mostly how it should be.

which is not to say there can't be a separate god too, just that we need to stop using its possible existence as an excuse not to face our own responsibilities,
and exercise restraint in our personal behavior, such as to not make life more difficult for each other, and by so doing, ourselves as well.

as to a god itself, what is ridiculous is that it would owe anything, to any concept any human ever has come up with about it. strangeness is innocent. what is evil is the desire to be feared.

If there was a God and he walked among us, I'm sure he would be severely disappointed and depressed about how his creations had turned out. Power and money obsessed war mongers, where greed, corruption, conflict and manipulation are their main priorities. A world where we openly accept that murder, violence, robbery and theft are just a way of life now. A race where they can't distinguish between a man and a woman. A world that shouts for racial harmony but with the ones doing all the shouting being the ones that cause all the racial tension and the segregation. A world where morals and integrity have been thrown out the window, where kids grow up dreaming about being a rich Onlyfans model or a professional Fortnite player and lament the fact that they need to go to school...

Make no mistake. If God was one of us, he would see what a monumental fuck up he did by giving humans free will. The human race are on a slow road to oblivion.

 

We humans are salvation from asteroids. There may be a risk for gaining this tech. We risk
