Here is Croix and I. To sleep at night Croix needs to hold my dreads. They are his biggest comfort. hehehe, its so cute. One night he woke up and came to me and climbed up on my lap and wanted to hold my dreads. Well, since I was on the computer I decided to take pictures of it because I thought it was so sweet. I love the bond and comfort of it all and one day when he is grown up so too will my dreadies and I will beable to look at them and think about his chubby little baby hand grasping onto it. *cries* nooo growing up Croix! lol sweet dreams my little sweet pea!

Oh that is so cute! Orion has taken to petting my dreads. He thinks they're so soft. Kids are so cute! I don't want mine to grow up either. Oh, and I thought you pronounced his name "croy". But, I'm curious too.
It is said like "Ker-oi" but all together. Heard of the island St. Croix in the bahamas? Off of St. Thomas? Well, its said like that... His name means "cross" in french but it is pronounced a different way. I loved the name sounding like the island so thats why its spelled like the french word cross but pronounced the way americans say it, i guess? I thought it was beautiful and the moment I heard it I knew it was his name.

thank you guys *blushes* They are getting smarter by the day! Its amazing! Croix says "dweds" lol. Today we where listening to an old grateful dead concert and those two were dancing around and spinning...I think they are just turning into little men more and more everyday. I like how they can dance and giggle and not feel like it is dumb for a guy to do (believe, I've seen self conscience 2 year olds! ridiclous!). I can def. seeing them being interested in growing their own dreadlocks someday. And then maybe I'll be a grandmommy and have my little grandbaby holding their dreadlocks too. OHHH! Do I sense a passed down tradition? lol
absolutely adorable, my little cousin can't sleep unless he plays with someone's hair, he likes the softness of it I think so whenever I go stay he climbs into bed with me and twizzles my hair until he gets to sleep, I wake up in the morning with a head full of little knots.
