Accountability such as that which has kept regular people in check from becoming outright criminals, nasty, overt, conscienceless racists, and kept ridiculously lying legislators that now do not care if they are caught lying and just change what they say from day to day , without any societal or legislative penalty in check, ( they realize who their constituents are), accountability that kept the populace (in the main) from shooting one another over trivialities or whether the efficacy of masks and distancing in a worldwide pandemic is real --- I mean life has just gotten crazier and crazier the last 5 years or so and it is going to get worse, IMO.Isn't it the christians that talk about an anti-christ coming? Hmmm. If there is any credulity to that belief--is it / he / she here now? An entity that is purposefully destroying world "order" such as it is ? That's too easy an answer, I suppose. It's always been up to severely flawed , power hungry, mentally disturbed humans, with their desires the only issues that matter.

Ben Martin, Fresno area activist, charged for involvement in Jan. 6 Capitol attack

Martin was charged with six separate Federal offenses by D.C.–based Federal prosecutors: entering and remaining in a restricted building, disorderly conduct in a restricted building; disorderly conduct in a Capitol building; Parading, Demonstrating, or Picketing in a Capitol building; Obstructing a Law Enforcement Officer during Civil Disorder; and Obstructing or impeding an official proceeding.

“The FBI National Threat Operations Center received a tip from a tipster who said that Benjamin Martin of Madera, California had been involved in the January 6, 2021 break-in at the U.S. Capitol Building. The tipster provided a date of birth, cellular telephone number, and home telephone number for Martin,” a statement of the facts in the Federal complaint against him reads.

"Kelly McFadden O’Brien’s long white coat helped agents investigating the Jan. 6 insurrection track her in security video from the U.S. Capitol to a downtown Washington, D.C., hotel where she stayed the night after the Jan. 6 siege.

But when the FBI got a warrant and searched her Schnecksville home three months later, the coat was nowhere to be found, a federal court filing says.

That’s because O’Brien, 49, threw the coat away after it was ruined when a canister of bear spray she carried Jan. 6 in Washington exploded in her purse as it hung with the coat in her powder room, her husband told investigators. Although O’Brien’s husband repainted the powder room, agents found orange pepper oil stains on a door jamb and window shade that confirmed his story, the court filing says.

Video posted on O’Brien’s Facebook page showed her narrating the approach to the Capitol of a group of people, including Jacob Angeli, the bizarrely attired man dubbed the Q Anon Shaman whose image dominated photographs of the insurrection in the news. Security video captured images of O’Brien wearing her white coat walking through the Crypt of the Capitol and in the lobby of a hotel four blocks away where she was registered as a guest, the filing says."

Wilson is the type of person Trump and his following would now refer to as a 'patriot' who is being persecuted by law enforcement (whom they praise if they aren't prosecuting Trump and his ilk) for 'hugging and kissing' law enforcement.
