I smoked a northern lights #5 and it was great. Only needed about 5-6 hits to really be ripped. I liked the taste also. Very strong, but not chem-y.

It's a good strain to be dealing with, but it also counts a lot on the grower and how much love and care was put in to the plants.

    Smoked it many times.

It's a strain that goes back many years and I personally like it very much as I like the Indica (couch lock) stone.

smoked Northern Lights in Alaska under the Aurora Borealis. A pleasant yet lethal combination :)

you guys are reading entirely too much into the names of weed. More than half the time, when someone in a city, gets a shipment of weed in, and no one else has it, they make up names for it, and it just sticks, and everyone is so stoked there smoking AK47 chronic.

he said his friend has 20 plants of northern lights. i doubt a big size grow like that used bag seeds.

read closer bro......i didnt say it was from a bag of seeds. And how do you know its all the exact same bud, it could be seeds from 10 different plants......and the grower not even know. Labels for bud are just a waste of time, and a way to help sell it. Why not just say, i have some killer dro, or chronic? People are just going buy what there friends said was good, so if someone knows Northern Lights sells good, then everyone in town is going to say thats what they have.

Wowowow. How perfect. That must've been phenomenal.....well done!

I'm not sure if I've ever tried the REAL Northern Lights. I've smoked stuff that's been sold under the name, but I don't remember it being anything all that special, although it was solidly potent. So I'm assuming I haven't actually had it.

While some dealers do undoubtedly christen their bud using false (and popular) names like Northern Lights, that doesn't mean labels for bud are "just a waste of time." Different strains DO exist, and for people who grow their own or who know the person who grows their bud, the names are helpful in differentiating the kind of weed being grown/smoked.

maybe but a grow featuring 20 plants probably used company bought seeds, which the odds of them being northern lights are high.

yeap. and i'm sick and tired of geeks comin on here and posting about their "killer" strands :p

i bet you, no...i guarantee you, that this "northern lights" is not the same stand as the other ppl claiming they have had it as well.

i bet alot of people do that, but he was talking about a friend not a dealer, who has a large grow op. i doubt that size of a grow that the dealer isnt gonna know what he has and jsut call it northern lights.
