Bill Cosby Freed as Court Overturns His Sex Assault Conviction Bill Cosby had his conviction for sexual assault overturned by a Pennsylvania appeals court on Wednesday and was freed from prison, a dramatic reversal in a case had represented the first high-profile sexual assault trial to unfold in the aftermath of the #MeToo movement. Mr. Cosby had served three years of a three- to 10-year prison sentence at a maximum-security facility outside Philadelphia when the seven-member Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that Mr. Cosby, 83, had been denied a fair trial in 2018. One of Mr. Cosby’s lawyers on the appeal, Brian W. Perry, said that his client was released from prison shortly after 2 p.m. and was headed to his home in suburban Philadelphia.
It’s unfair, but at least he experienced prison, and he’s old, so one unfortunate brush with covid19 delta+ variant and God might take over his fate.
If he can still get it up at his age, you know there are going to be other victims. Serial rapists don't stop until they're six feet under.
Other victims won’t matter with lack of physical evidence. It’s a situation that intent and consent are abstract concepts, hard to prove in our past a certain amount of time in a court process.
lack of evidence sounds like a biggie. do you want to live in a world where you can be jailed without evidence ?
