Patchwork Wrap Pants

I just made these pants this evening..i luv the way they turned out...they are stellar! It only took me one hour to make them!!!!

Very cute! Did you piece the patchwork? If so you are a speed demon with your sewing machine I love making and wearing wrap pants too!! I like making them to vend because they fit such a wide variety of sizes and are super cute


Your tunic & little girl dress are cute in your other thread too!!! I am going to have to hit up the fabric store for that pattern.

 

NO i have to admitt it was pre patchwork..i got it for 2 dollars a yard at hobby lobby!!! I couldn't pass that up...

how do you make them? would i need a pattern? can they be made in a toddler size?

 

I just cut out my pieces..**i used another pair of wrap pants for a guide on the rise*** then i sewed the pieces togher from waist to crotch..and sewed the inseams.. and them hemmed the edges and added strings to the top of the front and back...u do not sew the outerseams on wrap pants.. i'm sure u could absolutely make them for tolddlers...just use a pair of their pants as a guide...

I used a pair of wrap pants that i had already as a guide for the rise..

You really do not need a pattern for these.they are that simple..

Those are great! I love them. You said you used another pair of wrap pants to get the rise right. Did you just fold them and lay them out and trace onto the fabric or what?

Yes..i just flolded them and layed them on my fabric..**w / right sides togher... and then just cut out around them..i made them a little wider than the ones i already have...the ones i have fit..but are just a little too small....they are actually very easy and could be done w/out a pattern...the rise doesn't have to be perfect on these pants like they do on real pants...
