I'm seeing a mixed bag of opinions of this movie. Some say it's genuinely terrifying ... I, on the other hand, am very glad I only borrowed it and not wasted money on buying/renting it or wasted time downloading it!If you're thinking of seeing it, this is basically what you'll see - Couple go on vacation Woman's nude scene (the 'highlight' of the film) Couple go scuba divingIdiot doesn't do a head countIdiot leaves couple at seaCouple bob up and down in the waterThey get stung by jellyfish and teased by sharksNight fallsLightening flashes and couple screamDay breaksShe mysteriously takes his stuff off and then pushes his body away (not knowing if or how he died)She takes her stuff offShe sinksThe end. Possibly the most poor movie attempt I've EVER seen. Does anyone else think differently? I'd love to know why people like this movie!
What annoyed me about this film was the nude scene. It was totally inappropriate and only put there to attract little hormone-filled boys. I think it was really distasteful. Plus, she wasn't that hot! lol
I dont recall the love scene...but it just annoyed me that when they were stranded the guy was all cocky about it....I'm glad they died.
haha i was going to rent it but now i am not too sure.. I probably will still rent it cause people have different opinions about movies and such...
This movie was pretty intresting I thought, I mean its primal fear to be eaten by a animal. The only downfall was the acting, if the actors did a better job this movie would be pretty cool, I mean its more believable than a Freddy or Jason movie thats for sure.
This could have been a good movie provided: 1. They gave us any reason to care about these people. There was barely a backstory at all. 2. The characters has more than one dimension. I really didn't care that they were stranded in the ocean. And as much as I love an ambiguous ending (I enjoy debating what really happened with friends), this movie seemed to just end. And I agree with Spuff: the nudity was completely pointless.
AAAARRRRG! This was simply put, the WORST movie of my time!!! which is a relatively short amount of time being only 17 years, however! That does not take away from the fact that this movie sucked my non-exsistant NADS. I suppose, yes, the idea of being left in the middle of the ocean, or anywhere at all, with no way back - would kill me alone. but agreeing with WildRain, it would have been a bit better if they had a story about them. then meybe they would get my sympathy.
I don't know why he died (it went dark, lots of screaming and when morning came, we see her letting go of him and letting the sharks have a nibble!) and I think she got bored and decided just to ... well, sink! For no apparent reason ... she just sank! And no, they gave us no reason to feel anything for these characters. I'm no film writer but considering how short this film was, they could have given us more story before they went of vacation (such as a view into their hectic lives ... seeing as how their stress levels made them want to go there in the first place). 'Blair Witch meets Jaws' ... this statement made me laugh!
Spuff, Do us a favor bro. In the future, don't give away the plot! It's bad form. Brits are supposed to know all about form. Right!
I mean it's based on true events right? I dont like how they just assume what happend and then go and make a film about it and a horribly done film at that.
