So obviously there is no hair-beard freedeom in 21st century. Wondering if clean shaving the head is also forbidden. It is so in military. Lol.
Employers provide a service and most/some expect their employees to follow rules, some being a clean appearance, Shaving is commonly seen as a clean appearance,
Shaving head is not seen as a clean apperance, though. Just like long hair is not allowed, clean shaving head is not allowed either. If Employers are following military rules, those are all military rules.
I understand we are from different countries/cultures, the simple fact is you need to have a job, you will need to follow your employers rules. If you do want to follow the rules, you will be replaced by someone who will.
So I ended ''shaving is clean apperance'' thing. You cannot clean shave your head for being clean. No hair is not allowed either.
Thanks. I just finished another round of applications. My latest cover letter features me boasting of studying CPA exam materials. (CPA is a designation in accounting that means "Certified Public Accountant".)
If a potential employer has a rule you do not agree with, then “ you “ will have to look for employment elsewhere. As I posted, my wife has long hair, she must keep her hair “UP”, this is something she does not want to do, but this was something she was well aware of before excepting her employment. “Those with the Gold make the Rules”
Yea. It's.... Im Poss Ible. The exam is REALLY involved! I'm exaggerating, but it is challenging material. The reading, the vernacular, is over everybody's head most of the time. It goes a little deeper than most accounting textbooks; except maybe the Advanced Accounting ones. The stuff they're talking about with Fund Accounting or "The Regression Analysis Method for Evaluating Effectiveness of a Derivative Used to Hedge Risk on Another Asset" is not in my Computerized Accounting text... Regression Analysis is easy enough because I saw a video on YouTube. Otherwise I wouldn't have known.
I have seen some of what she was studying at the time, way over my head, I know 2 CPA’s the one I mentioned above, the other is now practicing law, a bright future is waiting for you
Thanks. I haven't told my girlfriend. I don't want to disappoint her when I'm not terribly interested in becoming a CPA. It's not that I don't want to do that. I just don't want to fail. LOL
